Descender Block

This unique device allows for repeated use in providing rescue or controlled descent in the event of emergency. While rescue is a primary use of this unit, other applications may be found where a controlled descent is necessary or as back up to other descending apparatus. The standard feature of a fall indicating snap hook is included with a mounting carabiner. Bracket suspension, especially sturdy for safely attaching the fall arrestor. This device basically functions in the same way as conventional height-safety devices, but allows the person who has suffered the accident to be lowered safely after the retaining process with a speed of approximately 3 feet per second.
